Time can be a cruel friend; it plays tricks on the mind as we age and robs us of our memories. That stories the same for everyone and everything - except for the love that Christina + Evan's share between them.
They first met twenty-one years ago while watching fireworks at Algonquin Park, July 11, 1997. Evan was the plus 1 on his best friends date and Christina was there hanging out with her girlfriends. They were seventeen at the time and spent the next eight years together.
Flash forward and the year is 2016. Christina + Evan are no longer together, but they’re also not apart. So while twenty years has gone by since that chance encounter at Algonquin Park, and yes a lot has changed, one thing still remained - their friendship. Each completely committed to friendship, while secretly waiting for the other to become available. Each of them was thinking and waiting for the other, but they never talked about it.
Flash forward again and the year is 2018. Christina + Evan have been engaged for a little under one year, and chosen the country hillsides, mountaintop views and rolling hayfields of upstate New York as the perfect place for a rustic, chic, outdoor wedding. They shopped around and landed squarely in Wallkill, NY, close to where they first met actually, at the beautiful Lippincott Manor which offers discerning couples serenity and solitude.
Their wedding day could't have been more perfect. Christina wore Maggie Sottero from Lady Grey in Beacon, NY; her shoes she jokingly admits she found on Amazon; Venue & catering Lippincott Manor; entertainment by DJ Bri-Swatek. Hair and make-up by Amanda Munro, Flowers by secret garden florist
They both say their favorite foods are deserts and anything sweet. Christina says the best thing Evan likes about her is her honesty & loyalty. The best thing Christina likes about Evan is his heart, because it's always in the right place.
BEST of LUCK to you both in the next twenty years.
